Essential Care for the Caregiver
Join us for this 4-part online series designed to support community caregivers who provide care for persons with dementia.
Each session will include information on a specific dementia care topic, opportunity for questions, and a guided stress-relief practice. Our goal is to offer a space for caregivers to learn new techniques, gain clarity, and connect to inner resources to enhance their caregiving experience.
Our topics for each week are:
- Week 1: Understanding Dementia and Caregiver Roles
- Week 2: Communication and Connection
- Week 3: Independence and Safety
- Week 4: Gentle Boundaries and Long-Term Planning
Registration is required prior to attending. Zoom link will be provided after registration and before the first session.
Dates: Sessions will be held on these consecutive Tuesdays: Oct 14, 21, 28 & Nov 4. Attend some or all sessions.
Time: 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Central Time
Location: Online via Zoom (a link will be sent to you via email after registration.)
Cost: This is a donation-based series, so pay what feels right for you. Suggested donation for this 4-session series is $40. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
